Second year Head Coach Andrea Duffy was named Anaconda MAAC Coach of the Year at the league's Women's Lacrosse Championships banquet Thursday evening in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Duffy orchestrated a significant turnaround this season, guiding the Saints to a 3-3 league record and their second MAAC Championship appearance in program history after finishing seventh last year and being picked sixth in this year's preseason poll.

Caitlin Mikel and Amanda Corso were named to the MAAC First Team and Erin Hepper earned MAAC Second Team honors.

Mikel ranks second in the conference in goals (44), assists (21), points (65) and shots (95). She needs one point in tomorrow's game to break the school's single season scoring record set by Lindsey Rosecrans '09 last season.

Corso was second on the team in ground balls (35) and caused turnovers (25). She also has two assists.

Hepper has 25 goals and two assists in 15 games this season. She leads the team with 42 ground balls and 28 caused turnovers.

The No. 4 seeded Saints face top-seeded and defending MAAC Champion Fairfield in the semifinals tomorrow at 4 p.m.
