LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Women's Lacrosse freshmen Ashley Holdridge and Sarah Croutier earned MAAC Weekly honors Monday. Holdridge was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, while Croutier earned Rookie of the Week honors for a third time this season.

The duo paced the Saints to one of the biggest wins in program history Saturday. The Saints defeated five-time defending MAAC Regular Season Champion Fairfield 8-5, snapping the Stags 30-game conference regular season winning streak.

Holdridge made a career-high 11 saves to post her first collegiate win. She saved 68.8% of the shots she faced and anchored a Siena defense that held Fairfield scoreless for a 28-minute span. Holdridge currently ranks third in the MAAC with a 9.40 goals against average and fourth in save percentage (.447).

Croutier netted a hat trick, scoring all of her goals in the second half including the game-winner. She added three groundballs and caused a pair of turnovers. Croutier ranks tied for fourth in the MAAC in assists (13), tied for sixth in groundballs (22) and seventh in points (30).

The Saints return to action Saturday when they host Marist at 1 p.m.
