LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Women's Lacrosse freshman midfielder Briana Sirianni has been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week. The local product from Saratoga Springs, N.Y. excelled in all facets in two games last week for the Saints.

Sirianni totaled 15 draw controls, four groundballs, two caused turnovers and two points on a goal and an assist. She currently ranks sixth in the MAAC in both draw controls per game (3.11) and groundballs per game (2.33), the latter of which also paces the Saints.

On Thursday against Binghamtom, Sirianni won 10 draw controls marking the second highest single-game total in program history and added a goal and an assist. On Saturday at 17th ranked Stony Brook, she won five more draw controls and picked up a season-high four groundballs.

Sirianni and the Saints open conference play Saturday when they host new MAAC member Monmouth at noon.
