Saints Stumble to Stony Brook 18-7
Stony Brook (6-1) rallied for eight unanswered goals to begin the contest leading to an 18-7 victory over the Saints this afternoon on John Fallon Field. Seawolves attacker Emily Jaissle led all scorers with four goals and two assists on the afternoon. Senior co-captain Christina Pampalone (East Northport, N.Y./Commack) and sophomore midfielder Lindsey Rosecrans (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) led Siena (1-4) with two goals apiece.

Fans can watch the game by purchasing a Siena Lacrosse Family Pack or a single game passport at Women's Lacrosse Family Packs cost just $84.95 - nearly a 40% savings off the total value - and include streaming video of all six home games, an exclusive Nike Siena Lacrosse sweatshirt, a professional digital 8x10 photo and weekly Siena Lacrosse Insider e-mail updates. Individual game passports are available for $7.95.

Siena (1-7) finally returns home following a five-game road trip which was tied for the longest in program history. The Saints went winless on the trip and although they do return to the friendly confines of Siena Turf Field today, a major obstacle stands in their way.

Stony Brook (7-2) enters today's matchup ranked 15th nationally in this week's IWLCA Coaches' Poll and 16th in the deBeer Media Poll. The Seawolves only two losses this season have come against top ranked Maryland and No. 3 Florida and Stony Brook is outscoring their opponents by an average of more than 10 goals per game - the largest margin of victory in the nation.

Siena faces just the third nationally ranked opponent in the program's 17-season history with all of the meetings coming since the start of last season. The Saints lost both of their matchups vs. IWLCA ranked opponents last year, falling at No. 4 Florida and No. 17 UMass. Stony Brook is the first nationally ranked opponent the Saints face at Siena Turf Field.
