Women's Lacrosse Drops Fifth Straight
Katherine Hunsberger scored five times leading Binghamton to a 10-7 win Wednesday afternoon over Siena Women's Lacrosse in Vestal, N.Y. Katie Maguire and Alyssa Treanor each scored twice for the Saints.

Siena (2-5) looks to build momentum into next Saturday's conference opener. The Saints are coming off a convincing 16-7 win over St. Bonaventure Sunday in which the team tallied the program's highest goal total in three years.

Junior attack Alyssa Treanor scored a career-high six points in Sunday's win and sophomore attack Sarah Croutier added four points. Croutier entered the week leading the MAAC in scoring with 20 points.

Binghamton (4-3) plays its second of three games this week. The Bearcats are 1-1 against MAAC schools this year, defeating Niagara 17-7 and losing at defending MAAC Champion Canisius 19-10 Monday. Binghamton is one win shy of the program's most victories since 2008.



Siena and Binghamton have split eight previous meetings with the Bearcats prevailing 10-7 last spring in Vestal.
