In their final game of the season, Siena fell to Fairfield University 18-2 in MAAC women's lacrosse action. The win earns the Stags their third consecutive MAAC Regular Season Title, as they finished 2003 with a perfect 6-0 (8-8 overall) mark in the conference. The Saints finish out the season 3-12 overall and 1-5 in the MAAC.

Megan Main, who captured a new Fairfield record with eight goals, set the tone from the opening draw as she collected a pass from Kathleen Dillon then bounced one into the back of the net, just 16 seconds into regulation. Seconds later, Colleen Sindall doubled the margin with an unassisted goal at 29:04. The Stags would go on to score 16 unanswered goals through the 21:01 mark of the second half, before Siena would get on the board at 17:55.

Jessica Conahan was Fairfield's next highest scorer with five goals. Dillon added a goal to her assist, while Beth Loffredo, Kathleen Crane, and Lauren DeSteno each contributed a goal apiece. Courtney Hurley also added an assist, as would Main.

Caitlin Doherty and Karla Gudgel scored Siena's goals at 17:55 and 1:36 of the second half.

Monica Janowitz had six saves between the pipes in a near shut-out performance for Fairfield. Her counterpart Mary-Elizabeth Dupelle had a busy day, making 18 saves in goal for Siena.

Siena, who will not qualify for the MAAC Championships, finishes the 2003 season at 3-12 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
