Marist bridged the first and second half with a 9-0 run that broke a 6-6 tie and sent the Red Foxes into the MAAC Tournament. The loss ended the season for Siena, which would have claimed one of the four Tournament spots with a victory.

Ali Carnabuci and Lindsay Rinefierd each scored four times for the visitors. Lindsey Rosecrans and Ali Kain had three goals apiece for the Saints.

The two teams played an even first 10 minutes. Marist scored the game's first two goals, but Siena quickly responded with the next three. Ryan Tierney had the final goal on a free position opportunity, giving the Saints their first of two leads on the day, 3-2.

The Red Foxes fired back with two goals before Tierney and Kain answered with consecutive scores to put the Saints up 5-4. Carnbuci tied the game with an unassisted score and Falco put Marist up 6-5 with a free position shot at the 11:52 mark of the first half.

Rosecrans tied the score for the final time 12 seconds later, breaking free following a draw control. The Saints held an 18-13 edge in draw controls on the afternoon.

Carnabuci, Rinefired and Cristin Begley each scored two goals over the Red Foxes 9-0 run which spanned nearly 25 minutes.

Kathryn Marcantoino broke the scoring drought with free position shot with just 15:48 remaining.

Marist added four insurance goals over the next 15 minutes before the Saints finished the game with a flurry - scoring three times in the final 49 seconds.

The Red Foxes did an excellent job shutting down Siena senior star Christina Pampalone. Pampalone had registered a point in 23 consecutive games before being shutout Sunday. She graduates as Siena's all-time goals leader with 111 goals.

Pampalone was one of four seniors honored before Sunday's game. Corey Fink, Leah Ciaccio and Sarah Elliot joined her in an emotional Pregame ceremony.
