Fairfield scored seven of the first eight goals of the second half to pull away from Siena Women's Lacrosse 15-8 at Lessing Field. Lauren Smith and Alyssa Treanor each scored twice for the Saints.

Siena (3-10, 1-3) never led although trailed just 6-4 at the half. But Fairfield (9-3, 4-0) controlled the second half out-shooting the Saints 20-9 in the stanza.

Maddie Devine and Kate Callahan each added two points for the Saints which have lost 18 of 20 all-time meetings between the programs.

Alex Fehmel and Julieanne Mascera each netted hat tricks for Fairfield and Mascera finished with a game-high four points. Riley Hellstein, Jamie Leone and Jenna Slowey all added three points for the Stags.

The Saints return to action Wednesday for a 3 p.m. draw at Niagara.
