The Saints would score two more goals to secure the 9-3 lead with 10:00 left in the half. Marist tussled to mount an offensive attack but managed score two free position goals from DeLorenzo and freshman Jessica O'Brien in the last minute of the game.
Sophomore Sarah Elliot (Shoreview, MN) led Siena with eight caused turnovers and seven groundballs. For Marist, Joanna Maehr scooped eight groundballs with three draw controls to Siena's seven players taking a draw. Sophomore attacker Michelle Eide (Pearl River, NY) had two goals and dished out two of the Saints three assists.
