California led 12-0 at the half and defeated Siena Women's Lacrosse 16-6 Wednesday afternoon in Northern California. The Bears out-shot the Saints 32-15 and won 16 of 24 draw controls.

Sarah Croutier tallied two goals for the Saints (1-5) which scored four times in the final 10 minutes. Kate Callahan, Cara McQuillan, Julia Sirianni and Lauren Smith accounted for the other Siena goals.

Gaby Christman led all scorers with five goals for Cal (2-2) which out-shot the Saints 23-6 in the first half. Amelia Burke (four goals), Paige Gasparino (three) and Bella Huther (two) all added multiple goal performances for the Bears.

The Saints return home to host St. Bonaventure Sunday at noon.
