Coming off a tough defeat Friday night against fourth ranked Florida, Siena Women's Lacrosse ran into another hot opponent Sunday. The Saints concluded their two-game road trip to the Sunshine State with a 22-5 loss at Jacksonville.

Jacksonville (1-1) raced out to a 7-1 lead just 14 minutes in and never looked back. The Dolphins led 9-3 at the half and scored 11 unanswered goals in the second half to break open an 11-4 lead.

Five different Saints (0-2) scored with Michelle Andreo, Kristin McMillan, Deirdre McQuillan, Shannon Pfohl and Alyssa Treanor all notching tallies.

11 Dolphins scored led by four goals apiece from Jen Cosgrove and Ali Hoffman. Jacksonville out-shot the Saints 36-15 and held a 21-7 edge in draw controls.

The Saints head north to take on Vermont Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Burlington.
