2012: MAAC All-Academic Team selection...Saw action in five games and made first two career starts...Scored a goal and an assist in win at Niagara (4/11).

2011: Played in three games as a freshman...Caused a turnover.

BEFORE SIENA: Attended Skaneateles High School, where she earned three letters in lacrosse...Also ran cross country for three years.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Chad and Diane Steckel ... Has an older brother Peter who attends Clarkson University...Chose Siena because it felt right, and it has a marvelous school of business...An accounting major... Also recruited to play lacrosse by Rutgers, UVM, St. John Fisher, Cortland, and Hobart and William Smith...Accomplished alpine ski racer who qualified four times for Empire State Games and achieved fourth place in NYS in 2010 on the Jr. Eastern Finals team.
