GENERAL: A local product...Powerful low defender who will play a major role in our team defense.

2009: Started 10 of 15 games played...Caused nine turnovers...Won four draw controls and had six ground balls...Forced two turnovers and had three ground balls in 15-9 win over Central Connecticut (3/8)...MAAC All-Academic Team selection...Named to IWLCA Academic Squad.

2008: Started all 14 games...Picked up 20 ground balls...Tallied her first career assist in a win at Howard (3/18)...Had five ground balls against Central Conn. State (3/1).

BEFORE SIENA: Lettered in lacrosse, soccer, and indoor track at Shenendehowa High School...As a junior, she scored 20 goals and racked up 16 assists...Recognized as a scholar athlete for all sports seasons...Two-time Times Union All-Star...First Team All-Suburban Council...Member of the 2004 State Championship Team for soccer...Named Academic All-American as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born August 22, 1988...Daughter of David and Linda Papa...Has an older sister, Ashley, who attended the University of New Hampshire...A biology major...Chose Siena because of the academic excellence and the opportunity to play lacrosse at a competitive level.
