The Siena women's golf team captured a 10th-place finish at the Rutgers Invitational at Rutgers Country Club in Piscataway N.J. today, in their final tournament of the fall season. The tournament featured 16 teams with Boston College taking the top spot and host school Rutgers University earning a share of third place along with Georgetown University.
Siena finished with a scored of 673 (339,334) for the 10th spot, five strokes behind ninth-place Central Connecticut State University (339,329). Jillian Blanchard led the Green and Gold, claiming a share of the 11th individually with a score of 157 (78,79).
First place Boston College led the pack with a score of 606 (297,309)-a good 13 strokes ahead of second place St. John's University (310,309). Bucknell University rounded out the top-five (645).
With the close of the Rutgers Invitational, the Saints wrapped up their fall season.
