PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) shot an individual low-round of 72 and the Siena Saints finished in fifth place in the second and final round of the Princeton Invitational Sunday in Princeton, N.J. Claiming the tournament championship was host Princeton University, who finished the tournament shooting a 594.
Rounding out the top-five finishing schools was Harvard University, who finished in second, Saint John's University, who finished in third and Lehigh University, who took fourth place. Princeton's Annika Welander took home the individual crown after shooting a two-day low of 146.
Complimenting Erwin for the Saints was junior Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas) who placed tied for 16th with a two-day score of 158, followed by senior Laura Woolgar, who tied for 21st place, shooting a 163. Rounding out other finishing Saints was senior Megan Angis (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) and freshman Bridget Carr, who shot a combined score of 174, placing her tied for 46th.
Next up for the Saints is the Bucknell Invitational, beginning on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa.
