Fresh off their MAAC Championship, the women's golf team is starting right where they left off. After Round One at the Dartmouth Invitational the squad is currently third out of 12 schools. The Saints shot a collective +30 which is only 11 strokes behind Yale University, who currently leads the field.

"I'm pleased with our overall performance," coach Dave Wronowski said. "There's a lot of good things to build on."

The Saints were led by junior Kylie Strijek and sophomore Mary Fletcher who both completed their rounds six over par. Victoria Nguyen, who finished tenth last year in the event, finished with a 79.

The only other MAAC squad in contention is Fairfield University who finished nine strokes behind Siena. The Saints will continue play tomorrow in the final round with the first tee time scheduled for 9:20 A.M.
