The 10-time defending MAAC Champion Siena women's golf team kicked off the 2010 fall season by shooting its way to a seventh place standing following the first 36-holes of the three-round Bucknell Invite in Lewisburg, Pa. Senior co-captain Catherine Shomo paced the Saints with a pair of sub-80 rounds to place 15th overall.

Host Bucknell (607) jumped out to the clubhouse lead through 36 of 54 holes, followed by William & Mary, Rutgers, Lehigh, Radford, Marshall and the Saints (639). After shooting a team score of 322 in the first round, the Saints bested that mark by five strokes in Round Two to finish strong.

Shomo led the way with rounds of 78 and 75 respectively and sits just six shots off the individual lead behind Bucknell's Minjoo Lee.

Junior Julie Juchno also shot a pair of sub-80 rounds with a pair of 79's to finish second on the squad, followed by senior co-captain Katelynn Mannix (82-84) and sophomores Cortney Tilley (83-83) and Megan Cahill (88-80).
