The Siena College women's golf team captured their fourth-straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship with a come-from-behind victory over Fairfield University at the Palm Golf Course in Walt Disney World. The Saints shot a 704 (351, 353) to capture the league crown.

After trailing the Stags by four strokes, the Saints put together a strong second round to earn the five-stroke victory over Fairfield, who finished the 36-hole tournament with a 709 (347, 362).

Siena's Laura Woolgar claimed the 2004 Women's McLeod award, which is presented to the MAAC individual champion. She shot back-to-back scores of 81 for the two-day total of 162.

Samantha Rossi took fourth place individually with a 178 (85, 93)and Bridgette Palin was right behind her with a fifth-place score of 182 (90,92). Megan Angis and Shawna Carroll finished in a tie for eighth with scores of 188.
