Valerie Wijaya shot four over par, which was one stroke shy of the lead from round one, but the Siena women’s golf team ended play in eighth place in the 14-team field.  Siena will have one more round to gain ground in the tournament hosted in Providence, R.I.

Wijaya, who had the most par putts in the field, is currently sixth, with a five way tie for the individual leader.  As a team, Siena is 14 strokes behind overall leader Yale University.

Victoria Nguyen was second for the Saints, 25th overall with a +8.

Only one other MAAC team comprised the field, with Boston University currently sitting in last, six strokes behind Siena.

Siena will try to move up the standings in the final round tomorrow.
