After 18 holes in the Hawk Invitational, the Siena women’s golf team currently sits in second place, four strokes behind current leader Long Island University.  Victoria Nguyen and Cortney Tilley both completed play in the top-five overall in the tournament hosted at Jumping Brook Country Club, hosted by Monmouth University in Neptune, N.J.

Nguyen was the Saints’ top finisher shooting an 81 (+9) which is currently three strokes behind first place finishers, Marisol Doglioli of Long Island and Monica Pena of Fairleigh Dickinson.

Tilley was just behind her, with an 18-hole score of ten over par, which is currently fourth on the course.

Kylie Strijek finished two strokes behind and is 12th in the tournament , with a total score of 84.

Rounding out play, Mary Fletcher and Katie Nelson are both tied for 17th with a 85.

Siena will end play at the Hawk Invitational tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
