Divya Manthena shot a final round 79 to lead the Siena women’s golf team to a third place finish at the Lonnie Barton Invitational in Daytona, Fla. Manthena finished tied for fourth moving up two spots from the previous day.
UAlbany captured the Invitational crown, posting a cumulative two round score of 637. St. John’s took second, placing 18 strokes behind the Great Danes. Siena placed third, one stroke behind the Red Storm. Sacred Heart and Fairfield rounded out the top five.
Kristen Bromley shot the second lowest score for the Saints, shooting a final round 80 to finish tied for sixth place overall. Freshman Ashley Nguyen placed just outside the top 15 with a T-16 finish.
The Saints return to action March 13th for day one of the Bulldog Invitational in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
