Women's Golf Off to Strong Start in Spring Opener

Siena Women's Golf is off to a strong start in its spring opener. The Saints stand fifth through the first 18 holes at LIU Brooklyn's Lonnie Barton Invitational at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Fairleigh Dickinson leads the field following a First Round score of 311. The Saints are currently 15 strokes off the pace.

Freshman Grace Cuttone fired an opening round score of 78 to stand five shots off the clubhouse lead at +6. Junior Sara Riso and freshman Abigail Chai-Onn each tallied scores of 81.

Competition concludes Tuesday.
