Auburn Student-Athlete Shines On And Off The Field

FALL 2012: Had two appearances for the Saints...Enjoyed her best round score of +7 at the RMU Colonial Classic which helped the Saints shoot the best final round in the tournament's history.

SPRING 2012: Appeared in every event for Siena...Enjoyed a fifth place showing in the MAAC Championships (4/26-28)...Finished 17th in the Hartford Invite (4/15-17)...NGCA All-American Scholar

FALL 2011: Played in two events...Led Siena to a win over crosstown rival UAlbany (10/16) with a team-best round of 76.

BEFORE SIENA: Earned four letters at Holy Name...A two-time Division 2 All-Star, and the winner of her school's Athletic Director's Award in 2012...Also earned two letters in tennis.

PERSONAL: Born March 1, 1993...Daughter of William and Debra Nelson...Has an older brother, William...Chose Siena for its location, small class sizes, and golf program...Also recruited by Fairfield, Monmouth, and Mount St. Mary's.
