Siena field hockey fell 4-0 at Sacred Heart Sunday in the team's final road game of the 2011 season. The Saints were outshot 19-4 by the Pioneers, and did not record a single look in the second half of play. [read more]
For 15 minutes on Friday, Siena field hockey played NEC foe Quinnipiac even. Goal-scoring opportunities abounded, and the Saints hung right with a team they had not topped since 2000. Siena field hockey got off to a rough start Sunday at Robert Morris, falling behind 3-0 in the 11th minute. Rather than fold, though, the Saints mounted a furious charge, pecking away and getting chances to tie late before time ran out and the Colonials escaped with a 3-2 win. [read more]
