Robert Morris Defeats Saints 3-0

The field hockey team lost 3-0 in a tough game at Robert Morris this afternoon. Siena heads into the final stretch of their season with their final two games this weekend.

Robert Morris took an early lead on the Saints on Cloe McIlwaine's ninth goal of the season. McIlwaine's shot was set up off a penalty corner from Taleah Scott. Scott would later earn her own goal for RMU, scoring 23:47 on a rebound from McIlwaine's shot.

RMU's Jamie Hartley would finish off the scoring for Robert Morris in the second half on an unassisted goal.

The Saints were outshot 25-2 and Robert Morris took the 12-2 advantage in penalty corners. Saints senior goalie earned 12 saves, increasing her lead as Siena's all-time saves leader.

The Saints will be traveling to Sacred Heart this Friday, November 1 and their season concludes with Senior Day on November 3, at Siena Turf Field when they play Quinnipiac at 1:00 p.m.
