The Rider University field hockey team won its second Northeast Conference regular season title in the last three years, defeating Siena Sunday to finish the NEC schedule undefeated.

Junior Christina Ang scored both goals, capping an eight goal week, and currently leads the NEC in goals (14) and points (29).

The victory was the 11th consecutive win for the Broncs (12-2, 5-0 NEC), who will now host the NEC Championship October 31-November 2 as the top seed in the four-team tournament.

Junior Katie Conlon assisted on both goals, while sophomore Angela Fuoco also added an assist.

Rider out-shot Siena (2-9, 2-1 NEC) 18-6. Rider freshman goalkeeper Krysta Bearish made three saves for her third shutout. Kristen Heyde made nine saves for Siena.

The Saints return to action at 2 p.m. on Sunday as they host UMBC.
