Taylor Rideout enters her second season as the Siena Field Hockey program's assistant coach. The Barrington, Rhode Island native joined the Saints' coaching staff following a successful four-year undergraduate career at the University of New Hampshire.

"I am very excited to add Taylor to the Siena Field Hockey family," Zappone noted. "Taylor comes from a very successful UNH program where she knows and understands what it takes to be successful in Division I hockey. Having just graduated, Taylor is going to have fresh ideas for Siena and help make our program better. "

In Rideout's first year with the program, the Saints finished fifth in the MAAC with an overall record of 3-11 and 2-4 in conference play. Siena scored 25 goals in 2016, its most since 2009 and had two student-athletes named to All-MAAC Second Team.

At UNH, Rideout appeared in 63 games over the course of her collegiate career while helping lead the Wildcats to 44 victories. Rideout was a key to the program success, which was highlighted by two America East Regular Season Championships, and one Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

Besides bringing success to UNH on the field, Rideout was named to the American East Honor Roll twice as she pursued her degree in Kinesiology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in May 2016.

No stranger to the coaching scene, Rideout comes to the Saints with experience from Seacoast United Field Hockey Club as well as with multiple camps including Peak Field Hockey, UNH and College Connection.
