2012: Played in 15 games last season for the Saints, started 12 games...Came on strong at the end of the season, recording 4 points in the last 4 games...Scored the lone goal for the Saints against Sacred Heart (10/28)...Tallied assists against Rider (10/19) and against Monmouth (10/21).

2011: Played in every game, starting six...Second on the team with three goals...Touched net against Fairfield (9/1), Davidson (9/18), and Bryant (10/30)...Registered 10 shots, seven of which were on goal.

2010: Played in eight games, making six starts...Scored her first career goal against Holy Cross (9/9), one that turned out to be the game-winner.

BEFORE SIENA: Earned three varsity letters as a starting forward at Northport High...Also earned two varsity letters in lacrosse...Named All-County as a senior after registering nine goals and 12 assists...2008 All-Division selection...2010 High School Director's Award recipient...Member of the Honor Roll and Scholar Athlete Award winner.

PERSONAL: Born October 15, 1992...The daughter of Brien and Theresa Sullivan...Has an older brother, Timothy, who attends the U.S. Naval Academy, a younger brother, Devin and two younger sisters, Gabrielle and Brienna...Gabrielle is a midfielder on the Siena field hockey team...An undecided major...Enjoys skiing and photography.

WHY I CHOSE SIENA: "I chose Siena Field Hockey because the team is really friendly and welcoming, which made me feel very comfortable and I wanted to be a part of the experience."

ZAPPONE ON SULLIVAN: "Our team likes to attack with speed, and Michaela's style of play is very fast. She has great skills on the ball, and is a threat when she is in our attacking circle as a goal scorer and in awarding our team attacking corners."


If I could be on a reality TV show, it would be: Keeping up with the Kardashians because I love that show!

My best Siena field hockey moment has been: Scoring the winning goal against Holy Cross freshman year

If I didn't play field hockey, I would: Play lacrosse

My dream job: Working in New York City

The funniest player on the team is: Cory (dela Gorgendiere) because she always tells the best stories!
