2012: During her junior campaign, Mayo played in all 15 games last season, starting 14 games...Strong team defender and the ability to get her shots...Recording 4 shots against Fairfield (10/3).

2011: Played in every game last season, starting a team high 17...Led the team with six defensive saves...Her six stops was tied for second for most in a single season in Siena Saints history and most since 1999 (Jami Stariknok)...Recorded 12 shots including three on goal.

2010: Played in and started all 18 games...Had a goal and a defensive save at Longwood (8/31)...Assisted on Siena's lone goal at Quinnipiac (10/31).

BEFORE SIENA: Three year varsity starter at midfield for Niskayuna...Also played three years of varsity basketball at forward for Niskayuna...Led the Silver Warriors to a Suburban Council Section II Championship as a senior...2009 Times Union Field Hockey MVP, Player of the Week and Player to Watch...Tallied 15 goals and added nine assists her senior year...Two-time Section II All-State First Team and All-Star selection...Member of the ADK club field hockey team...Three-time Scholar Athlete...Received her Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards as a member of the Girl Scouts.

PERSONAL: Born April 15, 1992...The daughter of Jeffery and Geniene Mayo...Has two older sisters, Ashley, who attended Binghamton and Chelsea, who attended SUNY-Oswego...An undecided business major...Also recruited by Lock Haven, SUNY Cortland and SUNY New Paltz...Enjoys reading and being part of the Girl Scouts.

WHY I CHOSE SIENA: "I chose Siena Field Hockey because the team was very welcoming. They were like one big, fun family that I wanted to be a part of for the next four years."

What I like most about Coach: How much both of our coaches believe in us, and do whatever they can to get us motivated.

Best moment of the previous season: Coming so close to beating Robert Morris. That was one of our better games.

My goal for the upcoming season: To have a winning season and make it to the MAAC Championship.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to: Greece

If I could meet anyone, it would be: Jennifer Lawrence

If I had a million dollars, I would: Payoff my student loans and then take my family on a nice vacation to somewhere in Europe.
