GETTING TO KNOW LINDSAY MAYO

Twitter Handle: @lindsaycmayo

What I like most about Siena field hockey: How close everyone is. I know I can always go to anyone on the team if I am having a problem

What I like most about Coach Zappone: Her motivation is infectious, in a good way. She knows the right things to say to get us pumped for a game or even during a drill at practice

My superstitions are: When "knocking on wood", I have to do it an odd amount of times.

My most embarassing sport moment: In high school, during a field hockey game, I went to hit the ball but I completely whiffed it and then fell on my face

One thing people would be surprised to know about me: I hate ketchup

My hidden talent: I can do a front handspring

My biggest fear is: Being alone in an empty house at night

My favorite professional athlete: Curtis Granderson

My favorite food: Broccoli Cheddar Soup
