2011: Played in all 18 games while leading the team with 17 starts...Recorded more shots than any player on the squad with 21...Second on the team with three goals...Touched net for the only Siena point at St. Joseph (10/02)...Tallied a goal in back-to-back contests against Robert Morris (10/16) and Quinnipiac (10/21).

2010: An NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection for the second consecutive year, and a SGI/NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Team honoree...Appeared in 17 games, making 14 starts...Had three shots and a defensive save.

2009: NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection...Saw action in 18 games, starting 17...Registered one shot and one defensive save.

BEFORE SIENA: Earned four letters playing midfield in both field hockey and lacrosse and three letters in basketball at Mohawk Trail Regional...Member of the 2008 Division II Western Massachusetts State Champions...Member of the 2007-08 "A League" All Star Team...2007-08 Western Mass First Team All Star...2008 Massachusetts Top 60 Team selection and MA Girls and Women in Sports Award recipient.

PERSONAL: Born September 7, 1990 in Greenfield, Mass....The daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Johansmeyer...Has two older brothers, Bryan, who played lacrosse at Stony Brook and Matthew, who plays lacrosse for Plymouth State and an older sister, Sarah, who attended UMass-Amherst...Enjoys reading and scrapbooking in her free time...A mathematics/business major...Chose Siena for its size and the programs it had to offer...Also recruited to play at Franklin Pierce and Westfield State.

WHY I CHOSE SIENA: "I chose Siena Field Hockey because the first time I met the team I already felt like I was a part of it. The team is like a family and everyone is very welcoming."

ZAPPONE ON JOHANSMEYER: "There is so much you can say about Kelly. She is another really good leader. Selected as a captain from her teammates I think is a great tribute to her. She is very versatile, she can play both defense and midfield."

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to: Ireland or Australia because I am Irish and I just think Australia is beautiful

My most embarassing sports moment:I rocketed the ball off the backboard during basketball practice (kind of a had to be there moment)

If I could be on a reality TV show, it would be: Wipeout because it looks wicked fun

My hobbies are: Scrapbooking

My favorite food: Chicken parm

My favorite animal: Monkeys

My favorite movie: A LOT! Mean Girls, Sweet Home Alabama
