PERSONAL: Born March 26, 1992 in Worcester, Mass....The daughter of Denis and Karen dela Gorgendiere...Has an older sister, Danielle, who attends Mt. Holyoke College and an older brother, David, who attended UMass-Dartmouth...An elementary education major...Also recruited by Washington and Jefferson...Enjoys working and volunteering at Camp Putnam Fresh Air Camp, snowboarding, spending time outside and driving her Jeep.

WHY I CHOSE SIENA: "I chose Siena Field Hockey because I wanted to be a part of a welcoming and close team that was always working hard to improve their game and I could tell that was what this team was all about."

ZAPPONE ON DELA GORGENDIERE: "She's a great asset to have as a forward. She will predominately be playing the attack. She has the ability to really move around the field and put the ball in the cage when we need her to."

If I could be on a reality TV show, it would be: Why? Legends of the Hidden Temple. It looks wicked fun. I'd be a blue baracuda

My biggest fear is: Walking into a Walmart or other department store that has an automatic door that doesn't work.

What is that one thing you can't do without: Chocolate...Sweet sweet chocolate

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to: The outback in Australia because I would want to see all the different kinds of animals.

What I like most about Coach Zappone: The fact that she doesn't discourage dessert...and the fact that she seems really composed and prepared for us and our season.

My favorite book: The Phantom Tollbooth

My favorite food: Hot Dog Annie's Hot Dogs with barbeque sauce

My favorite flower: Indian Paintbrush

My favorite flavor iPhone app: The one that makes it so when you send a group text, those receiving the message with regular phones (i.e. me) get everyone else's replies as individual media messages
