Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena women's basketball team made a special visit this morning to the Eddy Ford Nursing Home for a New Year's brunch with the elderly residents. The Saints enjoyed sweets and live music in celebration of the New Year. Players and coaches also distributed Siena Athletics gifts to the residents in attendance.
"We were honored to be welcomed back to the house as special guests for their New Year's brunch," explained head coach Gina Castelli. "It is always rewarding for our program to give back to the local community, especially around the holidays."
Eddy Ford Nursing home is a 122-bed skilled nursing care center located at The Eddy's Cohoes campus.
