Siena (3-5) returns to the court for the first time in 17 days following the College's final exam period. The Saints last played Dec. 5 when they rallied from a 14-point second half deficit to defeat Maine in the closing seconds.

But Saturday's matchup with Dayton (11-0) will likely be the toughest test that any of the Saints have taken in the past two weeks.

The Flyers enter this week ranked 16th in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll and 15th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll - both program bests. The defending Atlantic-10 Champions, Dayton is one of seven remaining undefeated teams in Division I.

Siena is 0-12 all-time against nationally ranked teams in the AP Poll and 0-13 vs. the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll Top-25. Dayton becomes the fourth nationally ranked team the Saints host at the ARC joining Marist (2009, 2011) and Maryland (2005).

Dayton is coach by Jim Jabir who served as the sixth head coach in Siena Women's Basketball history from 1987-90. Jabir posted a 50-29 (.633) record in his three seasons in Loudonville and mentored current Siena head coach Ali Jaques who was an assistant under Jabir at Dayton during the 2005-06 season.
