Albany Keeps the Cup
For a second straight year the Albany Cup will reside in the city for which it is named. Cassandra Callaway scored all 24 of her points in the second half, leading UAlbany to a 72-48 victory Saturday afternoon at the Times Union Center.
At halftime of both the men's and women's games, the Siena Dance Team, UAlbany Dance Team and St. Mary's Academy of Hoosick Falls will be performing the cha-cha slide at half court as they look to Stomp Out Homelessness. Fans are encouraged to join in from their seats and reminded to wear green to show their support for the cause.
Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless will have a table set up on the concourse at the top of Section 123 accepting donations and distributing information to fans on how they can help the homeless.
