LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Senior guard Kollyns Scarbrough was named MAAC Player of the Week after her opening weekend performances. This is Scarbrough’s second career weekly award.
Scarbrough started the season off recording two double-doubles in two games played. The Jamaica, New York native first put up 21 points against Big Ten contender Penn State and added a career-high 12 rebounds. She then put up 17 points and grabbed 10 boards against St. Bonaventure in the home opener.
She swiped the ball a total of six times and recorded four of her steals against the Lady Lions. Scarbrough shot 51.9-percent from the field and 40-percent from behind the arc. Of her 22 total rebounds, eight were offensive boards. She added one assist and one block in the two games. She had no turnovers in 35 minutes played against the Bonnies.
The Saints return to action when they travel to Cambridge, Massachusetts to face Harvard on Wednesday, November 15. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
