WATCH FOR FREE AT 9 PM

#SienaMadness, presented by Newton Plaza, will take place at Siena's Alumni Recreation Center on Thursday, October 24 at 9 PM. The event is geared toward students, but open to the general public. No admission will be charged. The event will also be streamed live at no charge, just click the link at the top of the page at 9 p.m. to watch.

Highlights of this year's #SienaMadness include: a Siena student shooting a half court shot for $20,000, the introduction of the men's and women's basketball teams, a 10-minute running clock scrimmage by the men's team, DJ Eddie Moran, 2-Ball shooting competition with students and student athletes, Let's Make a Deal for the chance to win $1,000 cash, Siena's spirit groups, and free Paesan's Pizza for all attendees served by the two teams.

#SienaMadness will serve as the only opportunity for students to pick up their Dog Pound T-Shirt and the final opportunity to purchase a Dog Pound membership. For $35, students receive tickets to home men's games when school is in session and a Dog Pound T-Shirt. Dog Pound memberships can be purchased in advance of the event by CLICKING HERE.

One lucky Siena student will have the opportunity to shoot a half court shot for $20,000 thanks to the generosity of Newton Plaza. The contestant will be randomly chosen at the event.

Students will also be entered for a chance to compete in an on-court shooting contest alongside their favorite Siena men's or women's player by tweeting a short message explaining why they should be selected that uses the hashtag #SienaMadness. Students can also instagram a photo of themselves wearing green and gold and tag it with the hashtag #SienaSaints for a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash.

The Siena men's and women's basketball seasons open Friday, November 8 at Times Union Center with a doubleheader against UAlbany. Season tickets and individual game tickets are on-sale now. For more information,CLICK HERE.
