Siena basketball will have a whole new look this season, and a whole new slogan. The department revealed the tagline SaintSation today to help tip-off the department's 2013-14 marketing efforts.
"There's great energy surrounding our men's and women's basketball programs," director of athletics John D'Argenio said. "We've nearly met our season ticket renewal goals already, and our Fan Relations staff and marketing team have been working hard all summer to attract new fans. SaintSation is a fun theme to rally behind. We want people to think of Siena basketball as more than just the game. It's a community event that appeals to nearly every audience, and our goal is for people to have a unique, unforgettable experience."
SaintSation was created by the Leffler Agency , a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Baltimore that the Siena athletics department has worked with for the last eight years.
The announcement of the new theme also tips off the active push for new season ticket sales. Siena's Fan Relations staff is available during normal business hours at Times Union Center to discuss Siena basketball. They can be reached at 518-487-2202.
Men's season tickets start at just $104 for the buy three get one free package, and women's tickets are priced at $70 for adults and $30 for children (includes Generation S membership). Siena's Premium Seating Program features the best seats in the house, and exclusive benefits. The Fan Relations office is also already booking group sales (10 or more tickets) for the men's and women's non-conference games, including the season opening doubleheader against UAlbany Friday, November 8.
