LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena women's head basketball coach Gina Castelli announced the signing of Danielle Everson earlier today. Everson will join the Saints for the 2009-10 season in addition to early period signings Lily Grenci and Carly Cooper.

"Danielle will add much needed depth to our post game," Castelli said. "We are very happy that she has committed to Siena. She is athletic, strong and fundamentally sound. We look forward to having her in our program and working with her."

Everson, a 6-1 forward from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, adds a post presence for next season. She scored 1,083 points and had 1,180 rebounds in her high school career at Central Dauphin East. As a senior she averaged 15 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks per game. As a junior she averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks per game.

Everson is a two-time Patriot News Big 15 Player and First Team Mid-Penn selection. She was also named First Team All-District.
