BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - On the 10-year anniversary of the greatest moment in program history when Siena defeated Fairfield in the 2001 MAAC Championship Game, the two teams meet again today at the Arena at Harbor Yard in the MAAC Quarterfinals. You can follow all the action through Gameday Central with coverage kicking off at 3 p.m. with tip-off slated for shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Fourth seeded Siena (13-15, 11-7) and No. 5 seed Fairfield (17-12, 10-8) have had many memorable matchups in the conference championships since the 2001 title game and meet for the sixth time in the past seven years in postseason play. Fairfield has won four of the past five meetings, however three of those games have gone to overtime and another three have been decided by a single point.

Siena swept the Stags during the regular season, winning both matchups by eight points. Additionally, Siena's only win in the MAAC Tournament over Fairfield in their last five tries came here in Bridgeport in 2007 when Melissa Manzer buried the game-winning three with four seconds remaining in a 56-55 Siena win.
