Saints Win Five Straight
Siena Women’s Basketball remains undefeated in overtime games this season and extended their win streak to five games with a 62-59 (OT) win over Saint Peter’s on Thursday. Joella Gibson had a career-high 17 points with 10 from the free throw line to push the Saints to victory.

LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Women's Basketball concludes the regular season with a Sunday, February 25, 2 p.m. tip-off time against Saint Peter's. The Saints will honor Aaliyah Jones, Margot Hetzke, Joella Gibson, Kollyns Scarbrough and Emmanuella Edoka before tip-off.

Siena leads the series 38-31 as the two meet for the 70th time in program history and second time this season. The Saints have won 15 straight against the Peacocks. The last time Siena has lost to Saint Peter's at the Alumni Recreation Center was February 13, 2010 when the Peacocks won 53-45.

The five seniors the Saints are going to honor before tip-off have accumulated 44 conference wins which ties the senior class from 2005-06 and is the most league wins for a senior class since 2004-05 who tallied 53.

Siena enters the game on a one-game winning streak having defeated Canisius 68-59 on Friday evening. With the victory the Saints clinched the three-seed in the MAAC Tournament. The Saints were led by Kollyns Scarbrough who tallied 17 points, while Maddie Sims and Deja Rawls added 15 and 10, respectively. The Saints have held three of their last five opponents to under 55 points. Siena has caused 109 turnovers over the last five games to average 21.8 turnovers per game.

Saint Peter's enters the contest having just dropped their eighth-straight. The Peacocks shot 73.5 percent from the free-throw line in the second half against Manhattan and Velles led the team with eight points scored in the third quarter. Saint Peter's shot just 27.3-percent in the first half from the floor and ultimately fell 60-39.
