Rider shot a lights out 73.9% in the second half and 58.3% for the game to break free from Siena Women's Basketball 77-63 at the ARC. Kelsey Booth scored a career-high 16 points off the bench in a losing effort for Siena.

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Siena Women's Basketball concludes a three-game road trip when the Saints face Rider at 7 p.m. at Alumni Gymnasium. Gameday Central coverage begins with the radio pregame show at 6:30 p.m. in the Capital Region on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" and online at SienaAllAccess.com.

Looking to snap a five-game losing streak, Siena (6-11, 1-7) also aims to end a three-game skid in the series against Rider (8-10, 4-5) after having won the previous 10 meetings.

In this season's first meeting on New Year's Eve in Loudonville, Rider scored the final nine points in what had been a tight game throughout to defeat the Saints 77-63. Rider shot an incredible 73.9% in the second half and 58.3% for the game.

Rider senior forward and Preseason First Team All-MAAC selection MyNeshia McKenzie scored 29 points in that game and is averaging 14.4 points in seven career games vs. the Saints. A 2012-13 First Team All-MAAC selection, McKenzie currently ranks second in the MAAC in both scoring (19.5) and rebounding (10.9).

Kelsey Booth led the Saints with a career-high 16 points off the bench in the loss. The Saints scored 27 points off 22 Rider turnovers that afternoon and currently lead the MAAC in both turnovers forced (21.5 - 15th nationally) and steals (10.5 - 30th nationally).

 

 

Clara Sole Anglada leads all active Saints averaging 7.3 points in her career vs. Rider, while junior captain Tehresa Coles adds 6.8 points and 3.0 steals. Coles leads the Saints this season in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.
