LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Siena goes for its ninth straight win over a much improved Rider squad when the two teams do battle this afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium. Gameday Central coverage begins at 1 p.m. right here on SienaSaints.com.

Siena (4-12, 2-5) handily won both meetings a year ago against Rider (10-8, 2-5) and six of the Saints' wins during their current eight-game winning streak over the Broncs have been by double figures.

But Rider has proven to be a very different team so far this season. The Broncs already have won more games this season (10) then in the past two seasons combined (nine). With another win, the Broncs would have their most wins in 12 years.

Siena hopes that milestone comes at another team as both teams are in a battle for positioning in the conference standings. Entering today, Siena and Rider are in a five-way tie with Canisius, Loyola and Saint Peter's for sixth place in the MAAC standings.

Mike Demos and Steve Amedio have the call beginning with pregame coverage on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" at 12:30 p.m. Fans can also tune into the free audio broadcast online at SienaAllAccess.com and watch the game through Rider's multimedia platform.

Fans can also join the live blog at 12:45 p.m., follow along with the live stats, receive in-game twitter updates @SienaSaints and learn more about both teams by reading the game notes all by visiting the Gameday Central page.
