It's Déjà vu All Over Again
For a third straight season, Siena made history in the MAAC Tournament. And, once again, they were on the right side of it. The sixth seeded Saints went without a field goal for the final 13:36 and didn't score in the last 8:40 but had just enough to gut out a 34-33 victory over No. 3 seed Manhattan in the quarterfinals of the MAAC Tournament.

Siena (4-10, 0-3) makes its final of three appearances in the state capital this season with the men's game vs. Saint Peter's to follow at 2 p.m. The Saints have split their first two meetings in Albany this season, posting a season-opening 76-56 win over Fairleigh Dickinson Nov. 9 and falling to crosstown rival UAlbany 65-48 Dec. 1 in the Albany Cup.

Overall, the Saints have enjoyed playing downtown as they sport a 36-28 overall record in this facility including a 28-16 mark in regular season action.

Manhattan (4-10, 1-2) has dropped three of four including a 30-point loss Thursday at Iona. The Jaspers are only 3-16 all-time against the Saints in Loudonville, but sport a 4-2 record here against Siena in Albany.

Overall, Siena is 34-19 all-time against Manhattan and took two of three last season. The No. 6 seed in the MAAC Championships, the Saints upset No. 3 seed Manhattan 34-33 in the quarterfinals in the lowest combined score in tournament history. Siena advanced to the semifinals despite going scoreless for the final 8:40 and without a field goal for the last 13:36 of that game.

Mike Demos and Steve Amedio have the call of the game starting at 11:30 a.m. with the radio pregame show which airs locally on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint."
