LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - For the second time this season, Siena Women's Basketball freshman forward Meghan Donohue is the MAAC's Rookie of the Week. The Mogadore, Ohio native averaged 13 points and nine rebounds while shooting 55% from the floor in two games last week.

With Donohue's second conference honor, Siena has boasted the MAAC's Rookie of the Week four times in the first nine weeks of the season. Classmates Emia Willingham (Dec. 2) and Brianna Logan (Dec. 16) also previously earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors.

In Sunday's road win at Manhattan, Donohue posted her second collegiate double-double in leading the Saints in scoring with a career-high 15 points to go along with 11 rebounds, six of which came off the offensive glass. She added 11 points and seven rebounds in Tuesday's game vs. Rider.

Donohue, who's started all 12 games to date during her freshman campaign, is averaging 8.3 points per game. She ranks third in the MAAC shooting 55.6% from the floor and ninth in rebounding averaging 6.3 caroms. In conference play, Donohue is averaging a double-double at 12.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
