LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - After going seven seasons without a MAAC Rookie of the Week, a Siena Women's Basketball freshman has now earned that honor in two consecutive weeks. Loudonville native and former Colonie High standout Tehresa Coles has been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.

After establishing new career highs in the Saints' win over UMass Dec. 21 which earned her MAAC Rookie of the Week honors last week, Coles reached new heights in Siena's win at Maine last Thursday.

Coles poured in career highs of 12 points, six steals and five assists as the Saints' cruised to a 78-51 win over the Black Bears. She shot 5-11 from the field, added a block and all three of her rebounds came off the offensive glass.

Over the past four games Coles is averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while pacing the squad with 2.8 steals.

Coles and the Saints open MAAC play tonight here at the ARC at 7 p.m. vs. Canisius.
