LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Mary McKissack shattered her previous career-high with 28 points and Siena won its fourth straight game 76-50 over Iona Sunday afternoon in the ARC.

McKissack (Detroit, Mich./Communications and Arts) made her first five three-point attempts en route to 19 first-half points. The junior made 10 of 18 shots overall. Her previous career-high was 20 points against Vermont last season. Gunta Basko (Olaine, Latvia/Riga Secondary #3) posted 14 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists. The junior did have her string of five straight double-doubles snapped.

Siena (4-3/2-0 MAAC) steadily pulled away in the first half and never led by less than nine in the second half. The Saints forced Iona (0-8/0-2 MAAC) into 27 turnovers and held the winless Gaels to 32 percent shooting. Siena shot a season-best 44 percent.

Megan Cobb led the visitors with 16 points. No other Gaels scored in double figures.

The win was Siena's fourth in a row following an 0-3 start. Also, the Saints have won 17 games in a row against MAAC opponents dating back to last season. The Green and Gold have over three weeks before their next MAAC game at St. Peter's January 3rd.

Siena plays the second of five regular-season games at the Pepsi Arena Tuesday. The Saints host St. Bonaventure at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game against Hartford at 8.
