LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Marist scored the first 17 points and never looked back as the eight-time defending MAAC Champion Red Foxes doubled up the Saints 78-39 at the ARC. Junior captain Tehresa Coles paced the Saints with 12 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Marist (18-5, 12-1), which never led by fewer than 13 points after their opening run, led 40-23 at the break. The second half began much like the first as the Red Foxes scored the first 10 points of the stanza to put the game out of reach.

Marist shot 56.6% from the field and 11-22 from three, while Siena (6-16, 1-12) shot just 22.6%.

Emia Willingham scored seven points and added three steals, while Kelsey Booth added six points and six rebounds for the Saints which have lost 10 straight.

Winners of seven straight and 17 of 18, Marist placed four scorers in double figures. Sydney Coffey led the way with 17 points on 6-6 shooting and Madeline Blais added 13 points for Marist which has won the last 21 meetings in the series.

The Saints open a three-game road trip Saturday at Saint Peter's at 2 p.m.
