LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Junior Gunta Basko compiled 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead Siena to a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference victory over Rider Friday. For Siena (12-3, 7-0 MAAC), it was the Saints' 12th consecutive victory, and their 22nd consecutive conference win. The 12-game winning streak is the fourth-longest in the nation.

Holding a 48-35 lead, Siena, the defending MAAC Champion, out-scored Rider 19-4 to take a 67-39 lead with 11 minutes left.

Holding a 17-16 lead, Siena went on a 12-0 run, six points coming from Liene Jansone, to take a 29-16 lead with 8:08 left in the first half, and led 46-30 at the half on Basko's 14 points. Jansone finished with 12 points.

For Rider (3-13, 2-5 MAAC), freshman Katie Hall (Rock Tavern, NY/Burke Catholic) compiled 16 points.

For Basko, it was her 12th "double-double" of the season and the 29th of her career.

Freshman Becky Hower (Myerstown, PA/Lebanon Catholic) added 10 points for Rider, while senior Tanya Cross (Toronto) added eight points and five assists.
