Jolene Johnston enters her third season as assistant women's basketball coach. Her administrative duties include team travel, film exchange, scouting and she is the co-director of the program's summer camps. She also recruits and has on-floor coaching responsibilities.

Prior to Siena, Johnston served two years as an assistant coach at UAlbany.

Johnston '04 started 68 games and tied the school record with 121 appearances during her four year career. She averaged 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Johnston finished her career with 972 points and 519 rebounds.

In 2003-04, Johnston was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and selected to the All-MAAC First Team. She won four regular-season MAAC Titles (2000-2004) and a MAAC Championship in 2001.

After graduation, Johnston played professionally for the Ponce Leonas in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and T71 in Dudelange, Luxembourg. She has additional coaching experience at local summer camps and was the co-head coach at Scotia-Glenville High School in 2004-05.
