Final Stats

Ryan Schmitz posted an impressive three-set win in a super tiebreaker at top singles in his final collegiate match for Siena, but Niagara pulled out a 5-2 home MAAC win to close out the regular-season Thursday.

Matthew Funiciello scored a 7-5 and 6-2 win at No. 6 singles to account for Siena's (3-13, 1-6) other point.

Niagara (12-10, 5-2) played without regular No. 1 Michael Elortegui, but won singles matches 2-5 and took two doubles contests to claim the three-point win.

It marked the final match for Schmitz, Peter Collins and Joseph Holm. All three are on pace to graduate with honors next month.
